Where is the UBB6 Slashubb hack ?

At this point, the lack of the SlashUBB hack for 6.x is the only thing keeping me from moving forward with an upgrade on my site. If you complete this one, Charles, I'll be forever and eternally grateful!

I'll second that. We have 7 or 8 news sites that all use this from UBB5. We have not been able to upgrade because we do not have a solution yet. I fear trying to teach 40 news reporters a new method. lol

I myself would be willing to pay for this hack. *hint hint*

I'm also saying with 5.47e until UBB 6 has a SlashUBB hack...

what is slashubb?

slashubb is a great hack that was available for version 5 boards .... *hint hint charles*

it's a lookalike concept as the active topics with this huge difference that you can set which forum you want the topics from and how many ...

so you can create a forum where only a certain amount of people may create new messages and than use slashubb to retrieve the last 5 messages from this forum on your indexpage as a newsflash.

If you look at the mainpage of UBBDev that is what SlashUbb does ... but here it is done manually with newspro.

So let's hope it will be available soon ...

Why not just ask Jigga Master to add new features to the already existing Active Topics hack?

Just bringing this back onto the radar. Probably the one thing that is keeping me from upgrading to v6...
