I blew my first (Preview) hack.
I copy pasted all the changes and when updating the configuration setting in all the Primary Settings I got as far as Email Settings and got the following—

Can't find string terminator '"' anywhere before EOF at /usr/home/comcom/ubb/Templates/cp_vars_email.pl line 26.

Any suggestions before I go through the whole enchelada again?

I find this board to be 4 times as slow as mine or InfoPops.
I turned on my UBB and tried a test post and got—
