Do you know if there is a chat mod for UBB 6.01 or any type of chat program I can add into the board?

Uh a java irc chat client with a link to it in the header? That would probably work for ya, or you could even add it to where the faq reg. and search links are. Takes a few mins to setup an irc channel for your users to use.

Would you have the url for it?

Or the code to put it into next to the FAQ?

I assume he means one that integrates nicely into your UBB using user names like the old HearMe did. It was more than a simple text link, yet so easy to install. I would like to see one myself, IRCJava chats are so CPU intensive and boring compared to what we were spoiled by smile

I can't write one myself, i'm still learning flash scripting, but it's possible to create a chat mod using flash, there are demos around in books, but the scripting takes it out of me ;(

It uses a cgi or php script i think... I'll let you know whe i either work out how to doit or find one.
