I have a web site that links straight to topics. The links look like http://www.host.com/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000001. If I delete any topics, the new topics that I add start at t=000002, rather than 000001. I added 4 test topics and then deleted them when I was first configuring the ubb. Now I have to start all my links with t=000005 and so on. If I ever have to delete and re-add topics, my links will be all screwed up, and I have alot of them! Does anyone know how to get the ubb to start at t=000001 again when all the topics are deleted? Thanks, J

This is on purpose. It may be unsafe to start renumbering threads or altering the lastnumber.file

If you are removing all the topics, you can elete the forum and start it agin. That'll start it over at 0000001. Deleting the threads and rebuilding forum stats doesn't do the job.
