This is impossible - the UBB can not parse the image.

Wait, I wanna know how you can get a image bigger than 15 x 15 on the message icon on UBB 6. Also, how do you add to instant graemlins?

Charles, one stupid question for you. The UBB does not parse the image but it reads the http://img src code that the user inputs and parses that code. Can one add width=225 align=right to that code? in other word, the place where [img] [/img] is defined (do not know where) can we simply change it to ? So when it reads the href it automatically adds the extra width=225 align=right

Because that would force EVERY image, regardless of size, to be 225 pixels wide. It'll look like crap.

only in Netscaoe... IE adjusts automatically. Could you tell me where to make that change please? At least align=right will take care of wrapping image around text and that will look much better than having image on a line by itself.

Strictly, IE should also alter the image width.

Do not attempt to do this, man. It is not only not a good idea, it will surely tick people off on your board...

Actually Netscape seems to adjust also.

Okay, let me rephrase this.

Resizing the images is WRONG.

It is not an acceptable solution.

Just taking IE's bastardization of the HTML standards as an example of what "should" happen is NOT acceptable. Forcing a larger image into a smaller size is NOT the designed nor intended behavior. Forcing a smaller image into a larger size is NOT the designed nor intended behavior. The height= and width= attributes are to indicate the TRUE SIZE of the image, not to resize the image on the fly. If you fail to understand that, I don't know how much further you're going to get here...

If your users are posting images that are too large, ban their sorry rear ends.

If you need to use image height and width, use HTML.

HTML according to Charles Capps
When you don't know, why don't you just say so?
Thanks anyway
