UBB.Developers Forums UBB.classic V6 Mod Questions Am I stupid or what....

First of all I liked the hacks that I saw, but I can't use any one of them. I don't know how to get them to work, replacing stuff doesn't work, cause it can't even find the lines... It drives me mad.

I just want the following things, a newsfader, more smilies, who is online, and some stats on the mainpage.

If somebody can spend some time to fix this I would be very gratefull. Or tell me an easier way to fix this, cause I just can't seem to pull this off.

I even tried multihack and the script hack wizard, but I need *.swh files or something like that. So that doesn't work for me also.

So call me stupid or anything else, I just can't seem to pull this off.

I'm using version 6.01, never upgraded it, maybe I need to upgrade? And will I keep all my old settings and posts?

Upgrading to the newest version should help you. Those hacks that you listed were made around the time of 6.03, so they should work on the latest versions.
