Okay... I swear the 6+ version is... eh anyway.

I've been having bizarre issues with forum settings getting scraped if I use the main "forum settings" page in the control panel. Forums lose their category status. No biggie I put up with it and would reset each forum seperately if I had to. But now one of my members points out the fact that if you click on any of forums category pages you get a page with no forums listed. So based on past problems before adding mods I assume this is some weird fluke... but no idea how to fix

Go check it out:

Yeah I should have *****ed over at IP, but I've added in some mods (Last reply, easy's Hit Hack, plus some extra smilies and ubb code [instant also]). So figured I'd get ignored as always or told to revert back to an unmodified version. (Of course will probably get the same here).

Document all your mods (for your own reference of reinstalling them), then revamp the board.

I'd also say it's the result of a hack gone bad.

Sorry I can tell by my first post that I perhaps didn't explain things well.

But prior to even adding those hacks I had the forum settings getting tossed and forums disappearing complete if I used the main "forum settings" page issue. As for category pages I honestly don't know if this existed prior thus my uncertainity it could be due to a mod. But I'm guessing even the forum settings behaviour prior to mods isn't a designed one, no?

At this rate am considering install a second copy (full 6.04d) and then try moving forum contents over to the new board. Is that viable?

This is not the designed, annoying behavior. lol.

No, those 2 things aren't supposed to be happening smile

If I were you (if I were in control of the ftp and file uploading), I would just reupload the files. Upgrading to 6.04d also, in the process.
