Alright. I saw this at 411hype.com and when I tried it I couldnt get the moderators to show up in the box... Could someone please post the code on how to do this? Thanks
Easy, Ive done it on version 5 not on version 6, but it cant be that much different.
In the place it dumps the Moderator array, (in v5 its called @mods) it then joins it to a variable called $Moderator with commas between each moderator. So the easiest way I can see to do it would be to find the spot it prints the variable $Moderator. Replace that with something like
Depending on the number of moderators. A better way would be to output the
Gamer had a look at your code, on the right track but you are a bit confused with select box.
You have
$Moderator
Problem 1. The variable $Moderator is a variable where elements of the @Mod array put together with a comma seperating them ie (moderator1, moderator2, moderator3 etc...) You need to refer to each array element speratley (or in a loop)!
Problem 2. The variables need to be enclosed in option tags, ie
If they are not in these tags then they will not show up in the drop down box.
John as I said in a earlier post I had done it on version 5 not version 6. So the moderators array in version 6 may have a different name, ie, its not called @mod, thats why ts not outputting any data in the select box. As a test, where I had
change it to
Now if test1, test2 and test3 show up in the drop down box you know it works its just a problem with knowing what the origianal moderator array is called.
