If two sites wanted to use the same UBB, would there be a way to make that same UBB use two different templates depending on which site called it?
A little background: both of these sites are mine, but deal with two subtly different topics and will have different color schema. Therefore, I would like the colors of each site to be represented in the UBB when a person from either site calls it.
Sorry if this belongs more in the Templates forum... I couldn't decide which. Feel free to move it.

You may not share the same UBBs. It's against the license to do so.

Rangers what you can do is have separate fourms. For example 10 fourms 5 for one of the site and 5 for the other site. You can change the look of the other five so they have a distinct look. The only problem is that they would share the same member database.

It's ok.. I am sure goTo misread the question... he probably meant that it is illegal to physicaly share the same software (copy whatever) or the same liscence number.

It is not a license violation to share one UBB for two sites, either by hacking in template stuff (a PITA) or to use categories and forums seperately. This is the official word. (The license controls the instances of the software, not how you choose to modify them)
