Is it true that UBB scripts have a call back function in them?
So they can see where it's hosted

ohhhh, it might be true... but you have no need to be worried about any feature such as this one, because you bought your license legit, right? right.

Thats not what I'm worried about. I don't even have a website....
For school were doing a little project, and I heard about this so called "call back" function.. and I wanted to see how it's made

the call back is usually just the script calling back to another script. The most basic one is a the users.php logs the http_host to a file and returns a one pixel image. This is very basic and you should try to hide the obvious img src.
