I just integrated a JIRC chat into my page & I'm loving it.

Then I had this crazy idea.
With Who's Online you know which users are on the board.
Wouldn't it be nice, if from the chat room you could invite one of the other users from the Who's Online list to join you!!!
Here's how I think it could be done:
#1) Have an "Invite" Button in the chat room page.
#2) Click that button, loads a small pop up window with a list box populated by the boards current users (except you). You can select which users to invite. This process writes a file for each user you selected in some directory that is named with invitie's number and contains the number in the person who invited.
#3) The next time they load a page, the user who is surfing calls ultimatebb.cgi ... and we add something in there that checks for the exist of these invite files ... if one exist for the particular user then we pop-up a message with a java script!
