UBB.Developers Forums UBB.classic V6 Mod Questions I really need someone's help

people cannot register or log into my ubb because either upgraded to 6.04e or added last reply hack. i'm pretty sure i tried to upgrade to 6.04e by replacing files with beyond compare... i'm in desperate need of help.. please someone help me.

Well it looks like one of your CGI files has incorrect permissions. Check each file in your UBBCGI for the permissions.

when you say permissons you mean chmodding... i used one of those ubb6 test.cgi things and everything got a OK.. can anyone access and try to register and tell me the problem?

GTK is right. It looks like permissions. Make sure your path to sendmail is correct. Also try uploading a clean copy of ubb_lib_mail.cgi as it is not modified in the last reply hack. Or if you want to look at your current ubb_lib_mail.cgi file make sure it has this on line 39 ----> $msg ->send;

i have the last reply hack working and the thing on line 39. the hack never told me to edit that file. this error only occurs when you enable the ubb to mail me when users are registered. i'm so lost...
