Do you get it to recognize all of the old catagories and forums?? Everything upgraded perfectly that I could tell, everything but the forums and catagories. The only thing that shows up is the 9 new forums (which are blank). Any ideas?? I would hate to lose all of those posts, especially the new ones..... Ideas? Something simple I missed? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Whenever I had a problem with any mod I know I can count on the membership here to get me on the right track, Thanks in advance..... El Jefe

They published 6.04f after I had already downloaded and upgraded my 5.45 board. Unless I archived ALL of my files (which makes them read only) they can't be imported. I want to move my catagories and forums straight over without have to manually reconstruct them and still have them as active forums/threads...... Any other ideas?

okay i got it figured out after playing with it for awhile. It did import the catagories, I just had to enter the forums identically to the way they appeared on the old board and place them under the identical catagory, then they all show up once again.... Tactile learning, gotta love it.... Thanks one and all

this shoulda been in the "upgrading to v6" forum, you might gotta a more correct answer 9 chances outta 10 you didn't run the ubb_upgrade.cgi file after uploading all the files and setting permissions correctly.
