i think it might be from the hit hack version 2.0 by E@sy but i am not sure! please help me

Download the UBB6.04f again from the member area.

The changes in the various versions of "f" were very minor, so incorporating them into your hacked version shouldn't involve a lot of work.

I believe this particular problem was fixed by simply adding METHOD="POST" to a FORM tag in the relevant template file.

Can you give us the exact coding and what file to do it in. I tried myself and it didn't work..

Just do it yourself with Beyond Compare. Compare the original files and then add the new code into the hacked files.

that file is big! it woould tae a long time to do that. Can you just tell me the code?

did you upload the new public_move_topic.pl that's included with the latest upgrade? if not, do so.

if you refuse to redownload the new upgrade (6.04f), then open that file above that you have with the previous version.

look for:

replace that with:



you need the method="POST" for the form to understand what you're trying to do. if you leave that empty, it's like applying for a job without a resume.

I'm still getting the same error.

Done what you suggested Drew, but smae problem unfortunatly my friend. This also happens when users try to delete a PM using the checkboxes as well. It even does the same with the new zip of 6.04f as well. I am tempted to go back to 6.04e but I don't want to reinstall all teh hacks I have installed else I wouldn't hesitate :(:(

i recommend that you use beyond and compare when upgrading between versions. download it here .

i'm away from my computer right now, so i'll answer your questions more thoroughly later. regarding the delete pm problem, it's the same case of the missing 'method="POST"' in the tag. there could be another underlying problem, which i'm oblivious to.

one other comment, i'd say you stick to 6.04f so you won't have to do as much work when upgrading to upcoming versions. ciao!

Please quit bumping the thread... you need to get the latest zip files from IP to fix the problem. If your forum is heavily modified, then use Beyond Compare to transfer the changes. I have done it many many times, it only takes a few minutes to do it.

If you upgraded to 6.04f with the early files, then surely you are able to upload the latest changes with the files they made available within a few hours afterwards.
