After several hack installs (10 or so :D) I noticed that the login/register function no longer works with Netscape. It just hangs on a blank screen. All the other board functions seem to work fine. These are the board calls I seem to be having trouble with.

ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=agree
ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=login

I tried using stock template files as a quick debug, but the problem didn't go away. Which modules are involved with these routines? If someone can point me in the right direction, I can probably pull off a fix. Or if you're familiar with this Netscape glitch or have any suggestions, your help would be greatly appreciated!

Most likely a hack that affected login and registering routines, dont know which touches both.

I found the problem and got a fix, just need to know which module pulls up the 'I agree' var info splash and the user info input screen. Not sure which hack it was (or if it was my hack of the hack :D) but I need to close a table somewhere. Thanks!

I think the culprit may have been the footer hack, but it's hard to be certain at this point. But for future reference...

Solution: I added an additional close table statement in "public_common.pl" right after the first instance of $TBB. This doesn't affect my IE display and corrected my Netscape display problem. Everything is back to normal in Mudville.
