hi there,

we do use v6.01 and we do 'have' to upgrade to 6.05 very soon, i guess, concerning new mods/bugfixes etc. - well, any recommendations concerning how to..?

we so have a bunch of mods and i'd like to upgrade and re-include the mods (or newer versions) as fast as possible (using multihack?) ->

a) background-pictures
b) an old hit-counter hack
c) jimbos custom user-hack 0.00001 (we also do use this for stars)
d) smilie-mod 0.7 by dpk
e) an 'old' who's online (version?)
f) dropdown message icons by amykhar
g) pmessage-notif. on first page by charles
h) last username to post v.2.01
i) AIM/ICQ Status for UBB 6.0 Gold by Philipp Esselbach ([email protected])

so, any ideas are appreciated. what about just downloading the 6.05zip and overwriting all files? any known 'bugs' or 'problems'?

are there any mods/hacks you recommend to install, maybe a 'must'?

you could just use Beyond Compare and then you wouldn't have to worry about reinstalling those hacks

Just wait for 6.1 which will save you alot of time

Ironic that you are thinkin about upgrading..
i also was questioning wether to upgrade to 6.05...but i didnt want to do all the hacks again
Any idea on when 6.1 is going to be available for purchase?

BeyondComparing 6.01 to 6.05 is NOT advised - there are LOTS of changes.

6.1.0 is gonna be out sometime pretty soon now. See the ChitChat forum...
