is it possible so that ubb info [ threads / members etc ] can be stored in a mysql database and not as textfiles ? I know most message board software is actually using a mysql database and not text files because of the strain a server has to take to read through a load of text files - can this be done ? I have seen it done, by several people, but haven't seen any of them share their work yet. There are a few developers planning/working on it as well, but it's not to the finished/release stage...

cheers maybe some of these developers would be kind eoungh to share some of their info - i.e. how hard it was to convert ?
