After installing the Who's Online hack, I get the following error when jumpnig to a category header in the Hop to pull down list:
Undefined subroutine &main::GetOnlineUsers called at /usr/lib/cgi-bin/faroon/ubb_forum_summary.cgi line 15.
Clicking the individual forums works fine, it's just the Category headers. I've redone the hack but it doesn't seem to make any difference. Any ideas? Brad

Yup.
Rehack ubb_forum_summary.cgi so that it matches EXACTLY with what's listed in the Whos_Online_Readme.txt file. You're missing a few "unless $in{category} lines".

I'll check it out, thanks. On another note, my Who's Online was working fine, but now sporadically has problems with usernames showing up as html code, weird characters, etc. Also sometimes users will show up multiple times and will show as being online in a forum, but if you go to the Who's Online page, they show as being in a totally different forum... If you want to take a look go to http://www.van-halen.com/cgi-bin/bradman/ubber/ultimatebb.cgi Brad [ July 16, 2001 05:19 PM: Message edited by: bradman ]

Hmm .. probably hacking errors. Just wait until WOL 4.1.0 for UBB 6.1 is released and you should be fine.

Actually, I upgraded to 4.0 and everything is fine (I was using 3.9). I saw in the beta forum that the problem was fixed in 4.0. While uninstalling 3.9 I found one line of code that I left out that probably was causing the weird user appearances problem. Thanks Q.
