I have been doing small hacks for the past year and this is the first time I'm experiencing this.
I have a relatively new computer -- I wanted to try to put on the calender (great idea!) & I am getting this message. Has anyone seen this?

Notepad - Not enough memory available to complete this operation. Quit one or more applications to increase available memory, and then try again.

**I have 128 ram & a 30 gig hard drive. Not much is on the computer & I don't have anything else running when I try to do this.

thanks for any assistance
tazzie

use wordpad for the file you're trying to hack. this happens to me on the bigger files on the ubb (public_forum_summary etc.)

go to www.textpad.com and grab the demo version. It's fully functional with a nag screen, but it is perfect for hacking.

I love using SynEdit as its a Programmers Functional Editor which allows you to specify line numbers etc.
