what is wrong? i tried reuping ubb_lib_mail.cgi but nothing!? and my mail settings are right in cp

I get that too! It's not a problem with the software, it's a problem with the server. I wouldn't worry about it too much as it sends anyway.

I had the exact same problem, however, I went over my mail settings (even though they were correct), simply clicked the right boxes/radio buttons (just cus I couldn't think of anything else), and updated.. and it worked.

Yep, make sure your UNIX server path is correct (also make sure it's UNIX).
