I know I have asked this before but I can't seem to find the old post. I am running UBB 6.04f. I would like to allow only admins (not moderators) to view the IP of people who post. Is there a way to do so?
Do you mean In the Who's online or just the Normal forum?
If you mean the Normal forum I just checked my UBB and you can only turn it on for Mods and Admins. So I'd say you'd need to change the Permissions in the thread viewing file..Which I'm not sure about at the Moment. Maybe there is a hack for it.
Yes sorry about that. In any normal forum. I would like the admins to be able view the IP information but moderators. As it stands now, there is only an option to allow Admins AND Moderators to view the IP information.
Does anyone know how to limit this to only Admins?
Wow, that's a great question that I've never even noticed before!! I'm not sure about this one either. I haven't really had to use it yet I will be anxious to find out the answer though.
