Hey guys. I'm beginning to feel like a pain in the rear for asking so many questions about PM hacks. LOL!


Okay. Here's the deal. I installed this hack to my 6.04d version of UBB. It seemed to work when i loaded my board after installing the hack. Then, i logged out, logged back in, nothing. I cleared the cache, came back, & it worked.


Anyone know what the problem could be here?

I think somebody should make an auto-responser when you move threads to the questions forum.
Something like "This forum is to post code, not to ask questions. Moving to V6.0x Mod Questions...".

Anyway, try to rehack ubb_forum_summary.cgi. Don't forget to do that part 3 times.

Hmmmmmmmmmm. Well. Everything seems to be hacked correctly. I went back & double checked. It still isn't working correctly.

I've tried everything imaginable, & the hack still doesn't work. It gives me "You have no new PMs since your last visit" even when i do have PMs.

I installed the hack, and it works perfectly for me on any computer I log in with. Unfortunately it doesn't work for a single other person. They don't see the message at all.

It tells me when I have a message without error. Now how the hell can that be?

A little update, it appears I was wrong. Nothing gets displayed until a person recieves a PM, and it displays properly from then on.
