Here is my goal:
To allow ONLY Admins to view the IP address of people who post to my board.

What this entails is disabling or hacking the ability that allows admins and mods to view IP addresses. How can this be done? Thank you in advance.

You can't do that.
Maybe there is a hack for it but I'm not sure.

So it either has to be Admins and Moderator view the IPs or no one? That seems a bit absurd. I personally don't want my moderators checking out and tracking who people are. I only want them to moderate.

Does anyone know of a way to limit the View IP to ONLY Administrators?

Yeah well I guess you can suggest this mod for 6.1 and upgrade to it, but have you checked the v6 Beta and Finished mods forums for it?

I actually asked this question about 6 monnths ago and was given the answer. You do have to hack the code. Problem is I changed domains and reinstalled the UBB using a different version. It can be done but I am afraid that I don't know my member number to do a search for that old post with the answer. Nor do I think the old post is still around. I probably got pruned a while back. But I know it can be done. I have done it and people have told me how. Anyone? Anyone? Ferris? Help me please. I know shame on me... But please I am desperate.
