I have the backround of my buttons white and they look great when your browsing the topics but when you click on one the buttom set of buttons goes into the box (which is gray) and totally makes the buttons look like crap.....is there anyway around this? maybe to keep the buttons out of the box and in the white, or make a different set of buttons just for when your reading a topic?

You can always change your reply/topic buttons to new ones.
