My board has been running fine since I added the "fix" found in the thread of the last reply by thread. Now my main forum isn't working and this is the error message I am getting:
FYI
No member profile found for member number: 00000788

my url is http://www.thereeftank.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

No unregistered users are allowed to post, so that is not the problem. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks-
Brooke

hello brooke, it looks like you are using 6.04, so I am moving to "6.0x questions"

check that member profile and tell me what's in it, it sounds like it has been corrupted, you might need to manually rebuild one for the user...

there is no member 788. I have been pruning some old members out. I checked and no profile comes up for that number.

Any suggestions?? I was going to upgrade to 6.1, but I see it's not final yet.

I deleted the cgi file for member # 788. It was at 0 bytes. I did back it up just in case that caused any problems. It looks like the board is working again, but I still suspect this has something to do with that hack?? Maybe not??

Thx-

hmm... if you delete the cgi member file, that member is still listed in the memberslist.cgi and emailfile.cgi files... you may wanna find the entries for it and delete them manually - if possible alwys delete from within your cp.

rebuild your member stat files after...

if you see the error again, post here...

How bizarre that taking that file out made the board work, though. I added it back and the board still works. That member is still an active member and his posts say unregistered. I did the rebuild member stat files. Still says unregistered for him. Any other ideas??

Thanks-
Brooke
