Hey all,
Yeah, it's been a long time. Nice to see you all again and see that you're doing so well.
I am working on a template in Illustrator 9. I imported about 25 objects from Autocad, each one consisting of a ton of little lines. The problem is, the app has been brought to its knees due to all that detail. Is there a command that I can use to "flatten" each of those objects and gain some processing power back?
Thanks in advance.

p.s. I'd still love to hear from you all. You can find me on AIM at dgtlby or ICQ at 68300740. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hey DB! Welcome home... er.. back. As for Illustrator... I'll ask my boss as he's the Illustrator expert and I'm just a lowly PhotoShop grunt. Come back more often.

Hey Stilgar,
Thanks... man, I REALLY do miss all of you. You're kinda like family...
I figured it out. What I did was I increased the stroke of the Autocad drawing object to 0.25IN (small, but large when you're talking about Autocad) and then I chose OBJECT > RASTERIZE.
I chose 300PPI in CYMK (the color format that I'm using). That did the trick so far.
Thanks again all!

I'm glad you found it. My boss isn't showing up today. Looks like the nice weather we're having has struck him and he called in sick.
