I was trying to delete the following files to repleace them with my own hacked files (to put more graemlins in) and it said I couldnt delete them...
ubb_lib.cgi
ubb_lib_posting.cgi
vars_wordlets_img.cgi
Any ideas as to why I can't delete them?

This ftp is better and free, no trial peroid! http://www.smartftp.com Just right click on the file(s), select 'Properties / CHMOD'. Put in the number 755 for your cgi files and 777 for your variable files.  [ 09-30-2001: Message edited by: raiyan ]

I use CuteFTP, It is also real good. You can download it from http://www.download.com . All you have to do is right click on the file and select "CHMOD"

I got this:
555 Operation not permitted
! Chmod failed. It may not be supported on remote site.
I'll try asking the guy who set up the domain for me. Thanks for your help!

I think it's UNIX, but I got it working now... I added a whole bunch of graemlins!
The thing is that my brother is the one who admins my site and like 3 or 4 more sites, so I just used his account to delete and change the cgi-bins and it worked perfectly.
I'm about to make another question, so if you can help on that one too, see you there!
