UBB.Developers Forums UBB.classic V6 Mod Questions I'm desperate!

I've killed my ability to move topics and I need your help. I can open/close, delete, and top/de-top topics without issue.

When I attempt to move topics I get this error;

FYI
Invalid input! One or more items submitted in the form are not in the proper format.


Looking through the public_move_topic.pl and ubb_topic_maint.cgi I have traced a few places that may cause the issue, one being the validate array. Here is what is in the browser address bar at the time of the error. It appears to show the proper variables;

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=transfer_topic&f=1&t=000651&transfer_to=2&move_type=delete&submit=Move+Topic

It requires the f, t, transfer_to and move_type and they all seem to be there to me. I hate to be a bother but I removed the megamod hack, and the hidden forum hack thinking they were part of the problem and that didn't help.

I'm using 6.05 upgraded from 6.04

I couldn't think of what might be the prob, but the MegaMod does edit that area so try this.

Get a Un-hacked file of where you think the error is and if you see any differences paste them in and see what happens. Make sure the differences aren't from hack you have installed.

Try to open public_move_topic.pl, find:


Append after: (including the space)

method="post"

I still haven't fixed that same error when I try to delete PM's. When I find out more I'll post it here.

Heh, for some odd reason I was banned under "The Fonz"...I wouldn't mind knowing why.

Anyway, bumping topic, maybe someone could help me out while you're figuring out your PM problem.

Well, I fixed the problem with deleting PM's, it was the same issue with the method="post" missing from that line.

I just can't figure out how that line ended up missing from those two pages unless it was the upgrade from 6.04 to 6.05.
