Greetings Gentlemen...
I'm having a problem getting UBB News 2.0 to work on my boards. I'm currently using 6.04f on a Unix based system. I have installed and hacked my files for the UBB News 2.0 hack and everything installed as planned. I've went into the UBB News option in the cp.cgi screen and configured my news. My problem comes when I try to get it to display on my forums.html entrance page. I have tried both #exec and the virtual command lines but all I get is :
[an error occurred while processing this directive].
I can put the command in manually and go to that page without any problems. It's just when I try to integrate it into my HTML file. I have checked to make sure that my server supports this method which it does because I also us AXS tracking and Ipdisplay that I wrote which work fine. However UBBNews doesn't work. Can someone please help me?
Thanks

The page extension should be .shtml and not .html.

I finally got it working... I don't know how, but I did... But I do have it working on an HTML page. The server I run on is set up to run HTML with SSI or whatever... So it's now running and it's running really well.
Thanks...
Tom
