On my site I have UBB v6.04 installed and running with a few hacks. Most work correctly but that's a topic for another time. Here is my main question:

I run an e-mail discussion list from the web site. I want to archive my list's e-mail messages to my UBB board in an "archive: read only" forum. The way it could be done is to allow some sort of special address be added to the list membership that will send each post to the board on the special forum. Maybe something like "[email protected]" I dunno. I'm shooting in the dark here...

Any of you super hack gurus out there have any ideas? I'd sure like to have this mod. I'll bet a lot of others would too.

Well I haven't heard of that hack before, but if you want a hacker to make it post it in the Mod suggestions forum.

Thanks. I did. Since it is not a 6.1 hack what are the chances of someone taking the time to figure it out?

1. Why do you have a new install of v6.04? The latest version is 6.1.0.2...

2. Why did you change your 'powered by' notice? You're not allowed to do that, so change it back to the correct wording. Soon.

I d/l 6.04 months ago. Just set it up. Actaully, I tried to set it up when I d/l it but had problems so I gave it up and forgot about it. Just decided to roll it back out.

I changed the "powered by" back. Didn't realize it was such a big deal. Sorry if it p1ssed anyone off.
