Coudl someone please help me modify my version 5.45c UBB so it doesnt have that stupid 8 maximum images rules? I heard the modifications must be done in UBBLibray.pl but i cant find it.

uh oh i did the hack exactly and it didnt work. Postings.cgi doesnt post with the hack in place. I did exactly as the directions said to

sorry for the triple post but the hack seems to tremendously slow down the reaction time of postings.cgi. I dont know why, it just seems like it now takes forever to post. Any reason why? It posts right way when you iuncheck the signature box tho...

Hmm dunno. Ive been using that hack for quite some time, and it never caused any slowdowns.. I think your problem is unrelated to the hack (assuming that you installed it correctly of course ;))

If i remmember correct navaho warned for those problems you have when the hack came out, i cant find the topic about this, but he was talking about that some servers could get problems with more than 8 images on ubb by posting.

u don't have to install a hack to get more than 8 images, just go into ubb_library.cgi and change the $max_images to whatever you want it to be then upload it  [ April 10, 2001: Message edited by: DarkManX_19 ]
