Help with member titles...

I have it set so at a certain number of posts, a member gets a new title status.
EX:
4 posts - Newbie
49 posts - Journeyman
etc.

But for some reason when I give some one moderator privilages it doesn't say Moderator under thier name, but there post status. This doesn't affect Admins though, which I have set for them to be called Game Monster. I also have Moderators to be called Moderators. What could be wrong?
