Hi, I installed te avatar hack, and everything works fine. Only when a user registers he can't choose an avatar. And on the registration confirmation screen it prints a X (when an image's not found you see such a red X in a rectangular) after avatar. So, now my members have to choose their avatar by editing their profile. I run version 5.47 by the way. Does anyone knows how I can add an avatar choosing option to the registration form?

You could add the avatar selection to the registration, the problem with this is the "custom avatar" feature. It would not work because the file has to be the same as the username, and their name would not yet be registered, therefore it would not upload to the server.
Maybe the hack could be modified to make this work, I don't know.

I saw on your forum (xtremeforum) that you _have_ the avatar option at the registration form. Could you please tell me how you did that?

mmm.. I followed the instructions for register_lib.pl, only I did them in Ultimate.cgi... and it works

So, you figured it out then?
The main reason that I put it on this screen, was so that new users would know that the feature was available.
I prefer that members upload a custom avatar. But, like I said, you can't put the custom upload feaure on the registration screen.

Yeah, but I don't mind. If they want a custom avatar they just mail me it, and I'll put it online.
