I have this forum that I run but there are a few hacks that are giving me some problems. I have tried to look thru the code but can't find the problem and I have tried to install the hacks a few time to make sure I didn't do something wrong but still its a no go.

First one is with Cal Henderson News feeder that I got from Spawn's site. The problem is that it won't let me add news from the CP. It will show the newest member and the Announcements but thats it. When I add news from the CP it says its added but it won't show on the front page.

Next one is with Turbanator's Announcements hack. I have installed this one a few times to make sure I got it right. The problem is that after the "Select a Message Icon" page I get this error "We cannot post your topic because the Forum Name being submitted does not match the forum name we have listed in our records. Use your back button to try again." In the hack where it says to add the number of the Announcements forum I put 1 snice it listed as forum #1 in the CP. I have also checked the spelling of "Announcements" in the hack and the spelling I use on the forum and there the same.

Ok about the News fader hack, make sure that you Have gone to ur General Settings and ticked "used definable news" and then it will show.

No idea about the other.

Sorry, I should of put this in the first post. I have "used definable news" checked in the CP and still it won't show news added from the CP.

You must have messed up the code somewhere then, In Ultimate.cgi or Cpanel3.cgi
