I was wondering if it was possible to show the hot topics via SSI using the active topics script. im sure its possible, but i dont know what to conigure to get it to work.

Yes it is, I think the default config will work, not sure.

there is the configuration properties, for active.cgi to display the hot topics via SSI, there will have to be some messing with in the coding. im lost when i comes to that, i can alter the code to do what i want, but i can't write it. someone needs to point it out to me.

That's the default config and looks like it is ready to go.

ya, it is ready to go, and it does work. it only displays the active topics though. i want it to display the hot topics.

Hmm..Doesn't it display topics which have the hot icon thingy?

It displays the ones that have new content. New topic/new replies.
