Can this be done?
I have set up two bb both in different directorys, but both link to the same noncgi and members directory. i want to be able to post in one that will create a link so that people can post in the other one. i know i can add the url. but this is mind boggaling.
so i thought that it might be possible to add it as an extra field and then write some code in the other one like "$CGIurl/postings.cgition=newtopic&number=$postnewnumber&forum=$newforum" maybe,i don't know excactly but i know i have spent about 5 hours and just keep getting errors. also it might be easier to get the hopto pull down menu, and link it to the other forums?
if any one can hewlp me out or just tell me can it be done? has it been done? is there a hack that allows me to add new field to the posts?
