The News Fader was working great on my site, and I still think it is. Only, I recently upgraded my browser and the Java Machine and suddenly the script no longer runs.
I am given the error: "Class not registered" any idea how I can solve this issue?

Yes... the fader was and still is working ( See it here . I have confirmed that with members of the site that it does work. What I have learnt is that anyone with IE5.5 has the error "class is not registered" returned to them. (error is called on the line that actually displays the news fader on the page) Any ideas on how to correct this? [ July 18, 2001 01:38 PM: Message edited by: EaterOfDogs ]

Well... I went back to Microsoft's update page and clicked on the link to uninstall IE5.5 + service Pack 1. I then installed IE 5.02 and the Fader works once again.
It is either something with 5.5 or with the service pack that is installed with it....
