For some reason, after I installed the "Avatar Hack" on my UBB, I can't access it. I get this error message everytime I try to go to it:

[500] Error - Internal Server Error

The script you're trying to access has suffered a fatal error.
View the error log.

Possible Reasons

The script you were trying to use is misconfigured in some way, and cannot complete the task as it should.
The server is experiencing some technical problems. You should try again shortly.

Debugging Information:

Premature end of script headers: /data1/hm/unleashed/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi

Can anyone help me with this? BTW, The URL to the UBB is http://unleashed.hypermart.net/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi if anybody wants to see the message in HTML. Thanx! ^_^

you most likely either uploded your files in binary, or haven't set permissions correctly on them yet... start there.

You might have stuffed the coding up in ubbmisc.cgi thats the reason you got the error or Premissions problem.

Well, how do I set the permissions on it Allen?

Did you have to CHmod the files when you Uploaded you UBB? If you did do it the same way to the edited cgi files.

Well, I didn't have to CHMOD any of the files. But, even if I did, I don't know how to CHMOD using WS_FTP anyway. I REALLY need help on my UBB.....

I'm using CuteFTP so I wouldn't know know how to work yours.

Right click on the file. There should be something regarding either CHMOD or Permissions. If your server allows you to do it yourself, you'll be able to do what you have to do.

If not, contact them telling them the file, where it's located and the permissions required for the file.

cloud4x: just a side note hyper mart dose not let you run forums so keep a back up on your computer cause they will deleate it sooner or later

I've had my UBB on hypermart for about 5 months now and I've had no problem with them about it. Now watch I'll say this and my board will get deleted.

Go to Download.Com and search CuteFTP and download the latest version.

Also AL Hypermart can only detect UBB's from new accounts like from server 50 on.

Ok. I re-uploaded the files using Cute_FTP. But, now I have a different error message. This is it:

Error including the required files:

Be sure you uploaded UltBB.setup, Styles.file, mods.file and forums.cgi in ASCII/Text mode to your CGI directory. [This is a manual setting on your FTP software]

Make sure spelling and case are correct: UltBB.setup not ultbb.setup.

Here is the message returned from UBB:

Anybody know how to fix this?

Yeah, What you have to do is Re-install the area of code modifications for ubb_libary2.pl.

Ok. I completely re-installed the whole thing. But, it says to edit a few things on file "Register_lib.cgi" but I can't find that file. I see a "register_lib.pl" though. Is that the same file?

Yes it is, Must have been a mistake on the readme.

Your missing a "]" in your ubblibary_2.pl file on like 501.

Man,I've tried to install this doggone thing like 5 times and it hasn't worked not once.....can you install it for me Dex?
