OK I have Turb's Announcements Commenting Forum Hack installed on this forum . My problem is this. I make a announcement then you get takin to the page where you can add smiles if you also have his pick and click smiles hack on (which I do). But after that page I get this error message "We cannot post your topic because the Forum Name being submitted does not match the forum name we have listed in our records. Use your back button to try again.". It will make the announcement and has the right link to what should be the Comments page but it will not make the Comments thread. I have the Announcements forum as forum1 and have that set in the hack.

Hmmm...According to the error you get the Forum you want the Comment to be in isn't in the files Records....

But why wouldn't it be?

Make sure the forum is called "Announcements" and make sure you've setup these variables correctly:


if you want another forum name, you need to change the:


line, all this code is taken from the hack instructions.

I went backed and checked but as far as I can see everything is right. I have the forum number as and the name for the forum is I looked in the cp and the name of the forum is Announcements.

hmm... odd... should work fine if those are setup correctly..
