I was wondering if a clean version of Memberlist was available, one that doesn't include all that gobbledygook with the Y!mess and AIM and such. Just plain old memberlist... laugh

When I install the memberlist hack found in the Database, it appears to work, but it doesn't return any usernames... at all. The fields are all screwed up and the admin panel colours are black-on-black. frown

Thanks in advance smile

Did you run lettercreate.cgi? Thats why your Members aren't showing up.

And the CP memberlist is the colours of your forum..

Hiya,

yes, I ran lettercreate.cgi and that still didn't work for me - but that's probably my own doing.

I just have issue with all the AIM Y!Mess and ICQ code, I don't use any of those hacks and I really don't need that code there... I'm afraid to take it out myself because I'm not sure if I'm going to catch all the instances and make the script not work all together.

The colours in the CP addon are not showing up properly though, they don't match my Styles settings.

I'll try spawn's site, maybe I'll have more luck there. smile

Well you have obvoisly installed it wrong, or maybe you have a old version which has bugs in it. Get the newest Memberlist version. (Think it's 3.0)

Actually, I got an old version from SpAwn's site without all the AIM/Y!mess fluff and it works perfectly! laugh

I know, but it's not the icons that bug me! It's all the extra code that I really don't need clogging up the board. smile

What extra code? It doesn't really matter how much code is in the cgi files. Thats why the option is there so you can add the icons you want. (Eg. Messenger, Online etc.)
