Im looking for a simple mod that will show total replies in forumdisplay.cgi
Ive already got total threads, but replies would be kewl as well.

Why don't you just enable "Show total threads and replies" in your General settings?

maybe i have overlooked that.
ill take a look, but i wanted to display that total at the top of the forum screen.

There is a variable you can use to display the total replies, I use to use it on my forum, although I cant remember it off the top of my head, all you need to do it print it out.
I can't afford a good signature editor

Look through Ultimate.cgi the variable should be there and then put this in your Member line:
In Ultimate.cgi find
$MemberLine=Registered Members (Something like that.)
And Paste in the line after Memberline=
Total Topics:$VariableForTotalTopics
Thats should work. Fix me if I'm wrong.
