I have a UBB forum on one domain, and I'd like to display the latest topics on a web page on a different domain and a different server. Is that possible?
I've seen the "Active Topics Hack", and that doesn't look anything like what I had in mind. The page I've got is already fairly full of information and I want to have a small section with nothing but the topics. Something like this:
Todays forum topics: Topic #1 Topic #2 Topic #3
I'm not a regular here, so if your answer is something like "it's in the database", could you also let me know where that would be?
Thanks in advance.

The active topics hack does allow the writing of active topics to a local HTML file, now could you just link to that file from your other domain?

There is a active topics hack for v5. It should be in the database. Then just add the table code into your HTML or whatever page.

Y'know, I think that that might be the rub. I'm going to have to figure out how to get that information from one server to another before I can really do this.

Well, I did it. I took the off-the-shelf "Active topics hack" and hacked it further to give me the output that I wanted. Then I grabbed "wget" and installed it on the server. I have cron run wget every five minutes to get the topics from the ubb server, save them in a file on my home page's server, then I include that file in the home page: http://www.marshfield.net Thanks everyone for the help!
