I was wondering if someone could change the background colors, for the following graphics ??

Maybe change it to red, blue... I like the pictures and all, just the backgrounds need to be changed. That wood texture need to be changed too, but I'll let that up the the guy/girl who changes the backgrounds..

I used red/blue like you requested, but wasn't sure about the shades, so I went with what seems best for a metallica site.

I only did the header for now, but if this works for you, I can get to work on the others as well.

I just have to say this.... are you ever happy with the artwork that others do for you? Ever? These people, with lives and projects of their own, take time to make you something, all for free, and you don't even say "thanks". You give no specifics, ever... you're vague in your requests and you change your mind about what it is that you want with every post.

I've wanted to get that off my chest for a long time now.... I'm not trying to start a war or piss anyone off here... I'd just like to see people get the thanks and the respect they deserve for doing free art.

I often will post buttons/images that I create in these forums, but typically do not do custom work for free...unless of course, I can get a good chuckle out of it. Sorry to have used your request for my own laughs. Perhaps someone else can create the images you would like for free.

I suck at art, always have always will...
I just want a makeover, the sites 3 years old now and it hasn't changed a whole lot.
I like the current format of the boards, but I also like this new style thats out now IE: like the one you have here.
That menubar thingy at the top rocks, plus it can be used for all your pages, cgi, html etc. etc..

Okay, let me get this right... Do you want to change the whole colour scheme of the UBB, or just the background colour? If it's just the background colour, I could make part of the header/footer/etc. transparent, which would mean you wouldn't need to keep changing the images

In case that's not what you meant, I've had a go at making the header with the background #CCCCCC.

If that's okay, I'll carry on with making all of the other images...

This is a transparent image - As you can see, the image is exactly the same in each case, but the top part of the image is the same colour as the cell it is contained in.

Now, let's apply that to the sidebar - Same as before

Now, we have 2 options - We can either add a design on the sidebar image itself and add the whole image as a cell background ( like this ), or make the sidebar image the background of the cell (like you do now) and add the design in the cell itself ( like this ). View -> Source on that page might make it easier to understand too.

I think it looks better with the black background.

As far as the menubar goes, I have no clue what to put on there.. I'm not very inventive and you have done far too much already.
One of these days "I hope" I'll come up with a whole new design or layout.
