since there are NO forums for my question, ill just post it here....

im getting this error message when i try to close a post on 6.1 ...

An error has occured:

Can't obtain exclusive lock: Permission denied at /home/sites/www.djsharp.com/web/cgi-bin/ubb_lib_files.cgi line 565.

Please inform the board administration of this error so that they may fix the problem. Thank you!

how am i supposed to locate the problem in ubb_lib_files??? im not going to sit there & count 565 lines. i dont know how im supposed to figure it out.

My suggestions are using a brand new ubb_lib_files.cgi and rehack(if your doing that).

And check out if you did anything in ubb_topic_maint.cgi.

In the sub topic_open_close. Try a new file for that too.

figured it out. i believe it was from the Moderator Activity Logging hack i installed & ubb_topic_maint.cgi had changes to it that were probably causing the problem. I took the hack out & now it works, soooo...i should let them know about this.
