Why can't there be a mass move by date option as well as a prune by date option. I need to move/prune threads from the main forums into a archive forum and then go through and see which ones I want to delete from the achive forum.

Is this possible?

I have few questions.

Is there any other way of moving topics to another area instead of deleting them?

I know I could do this through FTP but what are the implications if I do it this way?

Will rebuilding the forum stats correct any errors if files are moved using FTP?

Do deleting files affect the member's total post count?

thank you.

I really would like to know how to do this too, because it's obviously needed on ALL busy boards surely?

Mass Move would be awesome to have for 6.1.x series but I dunno if anyone would be willing to write it, b/c I remember for 5x series it was a huge script, I mean tons of lines of codes if I do remember correctly.
