You can disable it in your General Display Settings in the CP.

sorry I guess I wasn't specific.. I meant the member # like under your name like yours is Member # 7694 .. that's what I want to get rid of.. I know there was one for the older versions of ubb because I did the hack to my friends site..

Remove it from public_topic_page.pl, it's about 2/3 the way down.

one other question I had is since I have ubb accelerator enabled do I link my bulletin board to ultimatebb.php or ultimatebb.cgi?? seems like if I link it to .cgi it pops up the first page and then what it does is asks me to login but if I click into like general or something it logs me in with the cookies .. it's really weird.. not sure why it's doing it.. searching right now for my answer

If your using .php and you go to .cgi it should re-direct you to .php. The addy doesn't always change though.
