Guys,

I am using the 1.60 version of the File Attachment Mod by Darin Simmons. When we upgraded to 6.1 from 5.X it completely broke this mod and while I have some hacking skills I am running into trouble trying to mod this one. I can send anyone the Mod or give them access to my forum if they like, but I have several thousand uploaded files that cannot be seen by folks now that the new scripts have no way of dealing with them.

Actually that's not the answer either.

The problem is the upgrade broke the old mod since it relied on the html files. However I have made a workaround, for now, by moving the old html files out and directly linking to them for old files.

I looked at the mod you mentioned (and I hope it is as robust as Darin's work) but I do have a few questions.

It mentions using a vars_wordlets_mods.cgi file but that isn't on my server or in the zip file. I have done some research on this file but I am think it has to be the one properly tuned for this upload mod.

So is it just missing or are the instructions out of date?
