I'm going to change the color scheme of my UBB but I don't have a clue what to.

I have the background color, #294A63, but I don't have any idea what other colors would look good with it.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance

I posted this a while ago and tried what you suggested but I couldn't make any schemes that looked good on the board.

I was wondering if someone could design me a blue colour scheme?

I've been using the one in the tutorial and it is definatly time for change.

Thanks in advance.

I usually find colors that are somewhat darker/lighter than you base color to be good complements.

With a base color of #294A63, I would recommend #1C3242 as a darker shade and #376384 as a lighter one.

With a deep blue grey family, white text #ffffff and lines look good, as does a soft yellow #ffff66 for links, etc.

Good luck with your new design

"ClassicBlue" is very close to what I have now but just gives it that little something extra.

"Mist" is also a very good colour scheme and while it isn't blue, certain members of my forum like to frequently point out that my site is VERY blue.

I've downloaded the css file but where are they used?

I know I can find out the colours from the files but I'd like to know a bit more about css files.

Edit: Nevermind. I found all the CSS topics and figured it out. smile
