ofcourse i can..
as you can see in the picture, the tables are being seperated by pictures.
the tables are not like in this forum, just onle black line at the top, but there is a picture at the top of it. Also at the bottom of each table you see a picture that is closing the table.
the tables also have a dubble line, normally, and also in this forum it has a single line.
i hope i can explain it correctly... coz it is hard to explain what i mean exactly..
aint the layout that is in the picture made by some JCtemplate or something?

it's not stupid, I just didn't understand You are looking for a modification that will add graphics to the top and bottom of your tables, much like JC's site? And you want a 'double line' to surround your tables? Am I close?

You might consider adapting Bookie's work for your site:

you'd be most likely interested in his TBT and TBB in public_common.pl

I see 'JCTemps' at the bottom.. are you using those too? You'll most likely need to choose one

I was just funnin' with ya... sorry if I offended you. I wasn't calling you a newbie. Just thought this question might get better response in a different forum since it's more of a code thing...
again, sorry if I offended you.

wwhhaaa Did you use just the TBT and TBB sections of the blam templates? Blam was written for 6.3, so things are gonna need to be updated if you use more than that. It'll give you an idea of what needs to be done

not sure, it's bookie's work and graphics. It's possible, but not something that can be done soon, he edited every template file I believe

I believe X was the first to do an entire "wrap around" of images around the UBB tables with one set of $TBT and $TBB tags. It was not a new concept in HTML, but it was different for the look of UBBs. Back then only the top and bottom of the UBB tables contained images. Now you'll find people using multiple $TBT and $TBB tags for different parts of their board. Try to experiment with the concept messagedj. It takes time but once you understand how it's done, you'll never look back. Don't give up. As Allen pointed out, generally the background images are placed in the $TBT and $TBB tags inside your "public_common.pl" file. Make sure you add the "height" and "width" when applying the background images. That way you'll have full control on how it lays out.
