Ok finished this hack today. What this will do is allow you to see the thread (URL), time, and date of any user's last post, displayed in their profile. Note that if a user's last post is in a private, that won't be displayed, and no info can be displayed until a user makes a post. Let me know of problems. Enjoy! V1.1 CHANGES ** Corrected bug that was causing the last post info to be overwritten if a user edited their profile. Possible bug: When trying to edit your profile, a line will appear in the profile to edit a field. The problem is that the field is nameless and doesn't display any sort of information.

Mr. Man - Nope there is no bug, nothing will come up when you edit your profile. HOWEVER, I did notice something, if you edit your profile, it wipes out the last post info when you submit it, so I will fix that for version 1.1 tonight.
Cloud - Make sure you follow the wordlet directions closely, you must have missed a step in there.

Guys make sure you upgrade to V1.1, it fixes a bug. It's a SUPER EASY fix, and there are upgrade instructions in the new V1.1 zip. Re-download from my first post.

Maybe it´s only for me but when I view the profile of a user the Last Post Info Line uses the background-colour instead of the Alternative Table Color (Which is standart I think) Changed public_display_profile.pl line:
to
and everything is fine now, Thanks for that hack

Cloud I don't know what to say it should work!! I didn't write the modlet install, I took it from the smilie hack, but it did work for me.
Oops, I forgot that in 6.02 the BGColor in the Profile field is now AltColumnColor1. Fixed the zip to note that.

when the last post is made on a private forum, the profile field shows up as, "info not available." is it possible to change it and make it show up as, "last post made in a private forum," or anything similar? by the way, thanks for the hack, it works great.

Well, the hack seemed to be working great for me, but now I'm running into some problems. When I go to somebody's profile, it says Last Post : at 04:27 PM on 04-06-2001 (or whatever date) but it does not say what forum or topic they posted in. Any ideas?
See ya,

Same here Degen, it's probably because of UBB 6.03. The wrong variables are probably $in{t} and $this_subject: after t= there is supposed to be the topic's number, and after > there is supposed to be the topic's name. [ April 07, 2001: Message edited by: LK ]

I think I fixed it: That's to new messages, and I don't care if it doesn't work for you, because it works in my forum [ April 07, 2001: Message edited by: LK ]

melder, in ubb_new_reply.cgi: in ubb_new_topic.cgi: btw, if you plan on upgrading, it will overwrite the custom status of 6.1, so I suggest you to use [51] (if you know what you're doing) [ September 09, 2001: Message edited by: LK ]

I upgraded today to ubb 6.1.0 BR2.1 and all the Member files still have the information due to this hack... the cgi files from (/cgi/members) directory have there the info... and it still appears when anyone posts or when you see their profile! how can i remove it from all? i have no ideia...
Instead of the MEMBER STATUS of each member.. it appears the LAST POST...
